Brief

This application is a project management system that covers major aspects of software development: people, process, project and product. It provides facilities for project management, task decomposition, customer account management, issue tracking, threaded comments, efforts tracking, progress tracking, document management, billing facilities, vacation tracking, working weekends tracking, notification facilities, projects’ distribution lists, product management, component tracking and delivery tracking.

Architecture

This application consists of:

• A powerful desktop client accessing relational database,
• A lightweight desktop client accessing middleware via HTTP,
• Autonomous backend processes,
• Middleware and web application,
• MS SQL Database.

In the enterprise scope, this application is integrated with IMAP server and with SVN server.
