Brief

This system automates an advertisement flyers creation process in compliance with the customer´s workflow, starting from placing an order, including layouts on-line review and approval and finishing with the shipment of the order.

Architecture

This system integrates an art-design tool with a database and a web application.

• Database keeps information about products, stores, suppliers, manufacturer, customers, flyers, and layouts.

• Web application implements tracking of the business process for flyer production, provides online access to the flyers in production for review, comment and approval.

• Add-on of the art-design tool aids the designer with getting up-to-date flyers and item attributes, and stores the flyer layout to the database for further retrieval by the web application.
