Brief

This project required reengineering of an existing application that heavily used DCE (Distributed Computing Environment) RPC (Remote Procedure Call) to RPC framework developed by Sun Microsystems  – ONC (Open Network Computing) RPC since DCE RPC becomes out of support.  Due to mismatching API and data types of DCE and ONC, a new abstraction layer has been introduced and all RPC-client classes were adjusted to use RPC abstraction layer.
