Business intelligence application for automating flyer production

Brief

This system automates an advertisement flyers creation process in compliance with the customer’s workflow, starting from placing an order, including layouts online review and approval and finishing with the shipment of the order.

Architecture

This system integrates an art-design tool with a database and a web application:

• database keeps information about products, stores, suppliers, manufacturer, customers, flyers, and layouts

• web application implements tracking of the business process for flyer production, provides online access to the flyers in production for review, comment and approval

• add-on of the art-design tool aids the designer with getting up-to-date flyers and item attributes, and stores the flyer layout to the database for further retrieval by the web application
